Christina Metcalf dives into the delicate subject of suicide with equal parts grace, raw honesty, and humor. The story is thought-provoking and laughter-inducing; a great combination for such a weighty subject. I didn’t want to stop reading and I was sad when it was over. I am looking forward to her next book!

This is a book you will totally enjoy. It reminds me of Sherryl Woods’ books but it moves faster and it is more contemporary. Even though it’s written for a middle aged audience, all ages will enjoy it. You will laugh at some parts of the story and hold your breath in dread at others.

I'm not a big reader but I thought that I would give this book a read. I couldn't put it down; read it in one sitting. The characters were superbly developed. The narrator, Reality, lacks a filter and has a love and distaste for people. The characters that have taken completely different paths in life, I loved, but at the same time, wanted to strangle. If you like romance with a little dark humor and a demigod that is sarcastic, means well, but likes to stir the pot, this book is for you.
